Local Owner Operator

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Steel Hauling Owner Operator Driver to join our team. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. This is a local opportunity. Monday thru Friday work schedule with an occasional weekend as needed. Duties Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations. Handle paperwork related to freight bills, invoices, and other documentation as required. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Must have own truck, trailer rental is available Verifiable steel coil hauling experience Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Must pass background checks and drug screenings as per company policy.
