Drivers deliver multi-stop grocery loads within a 250 mile radius, including Long Island and NYC boroughs except Manhattan. This is a steady local position with daily home time, automatic daycabs, dry van trailers, and strong activity based pay. Pay and earnings $0.60 - $0.66 per mile Average weekly pay: $1,500 - $2,100 Average annualized earnings: about $80,000 $20.50 - $22.50 per live stop $60 - $75 daily attendance pay when all scheduled days are worked $18 per hour detention pay $18 per hour miscellaneous work pay $20 per hour safety training pay $75 bonus on top of regular pay for qualifying 6th-day work Potential to exceed $95,000 W-2 earnings by consistently working 6th days Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) retirement plan Life insurance Short and long term disability coverage Paid time off Schedule and home time Local routes Home every night Operates within a 250 mile radius of Bethlehem, PA Drivers must have reliable personal transportation to and from work Automatic daycabs cannot be taken home during time off What you’ll haul Grocery freight 48 foot or 53 foot dry van trailers Multi-stop deliveries to grocery stores Usually 2 loads per day with 1 - 3 stops per trailer Delivery area includes Long Island and all NYC boroughs except Manhattan Drivers will pick up salvage from the last two stops Drivers will pick up return product at the final stop or a backhaul returning to the DC Equipment Automatic daycab 48 foot or 53 foot dry van trailer Slip seat equipment; the account will try to keep drivers in the same truck, but trucks are shared Trucks remain at the account facility during time off What we need Valid Class A CDL Minimum 3 - 6 months of trucking experience Comfortable with multi-stop grocery deliveries Willing to operate in Long Island and NYC boroughs except Manhattan Able to provide personal transportation to and from work
