Local Drayage Owner/Operator
MKK Express IncJob Summary This position is open to MKK EXPRESS and its subsidiaries. As an owner-operator, you will be responsible for managing your own vehicle and ensuring timely deliveries from LA LB port to the customer's warehouse while adhering to all regulations and company policies. CDL-A, TWIC card, self-owned truck, and at least 2 years of LA LB port experience are required. Duties Engage with the organization’s logistic system and mobile app. Accurately file documents, such as manifests and Proof of Delivery (POD). Pick up containers from Los Angeles/Long Beach (LA/LB) ports. Deliver containers to designated customer warehouses. Return containers to the LA port after deliveries. Basic Qualification: Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience and port experience. Valid CDL Class A License with TWIC card. No more than two moving violations within the past 24 months. No more than one DOT recordable accident within the past 24 months. Must be authorized to work in the United States. High school diploma or GED. Competencies and Skill Sets: Proficiency in English is required. Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and the dispatch team. Familiarity with documenting DOT regulations. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, detail-oriented, and organized.
