Local Delivery Driver (Non-CDL)
ConfidentialFine Lumber & Plywood is a family-owned hardwood lumber yard in northeast Austin (9407 Brown Ln, 78754). We're hiring a full-time Local Delivery Driver to deliver lumber and plywood around the Austin area. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-5:00 PM. Closed weekends. Pay: $18-$20+ per hour, depending on experience. No CDL needed. Neither of our two delivery trucks requires one. What you'll do: - Safely load and unload the truck by hand and with a forklift - Deliver orders accurately and on time - Keep the delivery vehicles clean and maintained - Communicate with the office and with customers We'll train you on the job in selecting, loading, and unloading materials. What we're looking for: - Must be 25 or older (insurance requirement) - Valid driver's license and a clean driving record - Physically fit for repeated loading and unloading of heavy lumber and plywood - Attention to detail - Good communication and a customer-friendly attitude - Flatbed experience is a plus but not required To apply: email a short cover letter to flp-hiring@mail.grokbot.com with the subject "Delivery Application - [Your Name]".
