Local Class A CDL Truck Driver
Sutton SalvageHome every night. Monday to Friday. Paid overtime. Sutton Salvage is hiring an experienced Class A CDL driver to run roll-off and flatbed loads within about 100 miles of Lewiston. No overnights, no weekends. Pay $25 to $27 per hour, depending on experience Paid overtime at time and a half. Our current driver averages about 12 overtime hours a week, which comes to roughly $1,450 to $1,560 weekly. Benefits (start after 90 days) Regence health insurance and Delta Dental 401(k) with a 4% company match after six months, increasing up to a 10% match with length of employment Vacation accrual, plus personal leave after one year Schedule Monday to Friday, day shift Start times as early as 5 a.m. What you’ll do Haul processed scrap metal and equipment to customers, vendors, and recycling partners Operate roll-off trucks and pull flatbed trailers Chain, strap, and secure loads to DOT standards Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork Grease, wash, and help maintain trucks and trailers Help with loading and yard work between runs What you need Valid Class A CDL 5+ years of commercial driving experience Roll-off and flatbed experience, including chaining and strapping loads Acceptable driving record Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather About us Sutton Salvage is a family-owned scrap metal recycler that has served the Lewis-Clark Valley since 1974.
