The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across regional lanes within a 250 mile radius of our headquarters, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to regulatory requirements, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. **LOCAL CDL Class A Truck Driver Responsibilities** - Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods across regional lanes. - Drive safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of freight. - Maintain accurate records of cargo, including inventory and delivery status. - Perform routine checks on the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions. - Conduct basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy. - Follow all relevant safety protocols and regulations. - Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading of goods. - Communicate with customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner. - Meet all regulatory requirements for trucking, including hours of service and logbook management. We provide ELD's. **LOCAL CDL Class A Truck Driver Experience** - Minimum 2 years Proven experience as a truck driver, with a strong understanding of regional lanes and freight transportation. - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures. - Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all relevant regulations. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
