This is a permanent, long-term position for a professional driver seeking consistent miles, predictable schedules, and daily home time. Unlike over-the-road positions, you'll enjoy a dedicated route, a 4-day work week, and every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off. The truck is based in Round Rock, TX , so applicants must live within 30 miles of the Austin/Round Rock area. Route Details Dedicated route: Austin, TX → Fort Worth, TX → Austin, TX Approximately 390 miles roundtrip per shift Monday through Thursday only Start time: 8:00 PM End time: Approximately 7:00 AM Home daily Truck parked in Round Rock, TX Consistent year-round work Compensation $250 per day $1,000 per week Weekly pay 3-day weekends every week Stable, dedicated route Long-term permanent opportunity Equipment 2015 Freightliner 10-Speed Manual Transmission No automatic transmission available Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations Transport freight safely and efficiently Navigate tight pickup and delivery locations with confidence Ensure on-time route completion Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly QualificationsRequired Valid Class A CDL Minimum of 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience Experience operating manual transmission trucks Proven ability to maneuver in tight spaces and challenging locations Clear FMCSA Clearinghouse record Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening, including hair follicle testing Reliable transportation to and from the truck location Strong safety record Professional appearance and attitude Dependable attendance and punctuality Location Requirement Must live within 30 miles of Austin or Round Rock, TX Who We're Looking For We're looking for a driver who wants a long-term home, not a temporary position.
