Local CDL A Truck Driver - Immediate Opening

Role Overview This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor-trailer to customers, ensuring proper delivery and unloading according to standards and customer specifications. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, proper documentation, adherence to food safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance. Responsibilities Unload products manually or with equipment, placing them in designated storage areas. Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices. Maintain food safety and sanitary conditions in the vehicle and warehouse. Develop positive customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe handling practices. Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and effective communication. Ability to operate various equipment, read and speak English sufficiently, perform basic math, and work independently. Physical & Work Environment Regularly lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 350 pounds, and climb in/out of vehicles. Work may involve exposure to weather conditions, mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise. Overtime, weekends, and holiday work are expected to meet customer needs.
