Local Box Truck Driver
ConfidentialJob Overview As a Local Box Truck Driver, you’ll assist OTR drivers, by securing the truck and load while they finish long haul deliveries moving safely and reliably from the warehouse to customers and other destinations. This role may also involve van or courier deliveries and personal vehicle delivery when assigned. Responsibilities Drive assigned local routes and follow traffic regulations and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Your impact: Safe, accurate deliveries help customers receive their orders reliably and keep warehouse operations running smoothly. Requirements Experience as a delivery driver, van driver, courier, or in commercial truck driving is preferred; box truck and route driving experience are valuable. Commercial driving experience and a valid license appropriate for the vehicle and applicable requirements are needed. Ability to perform manual handling, moving, and load-and-unload tasks; follow safe lifting practices and workplace weight-handling procedures. Familiarity with warehouse operations, warehouse experience, and material handling equipment operation is an advantage. Comfortable using mobile devices, driving a manual-transmission vehicle when required, and following DOT regulations.
