Duties
• Safely load and unload goods using various materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.
• Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and manual methods to ensure correct shipment processing.
• Manage inventory by organizing products within the warehouse, conducting stock counts, and updating inventory records.
• Operate heavy equipment responsibly following OSHA safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure workplace safety.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and preparing outgoing deliveries.
• Handle materials manually with proper lifting techniques to prevent injury during heavy lifting or manual handling tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to safety standards and warehouse procedures at all times.
Experience
• Previous experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics roles is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse operations enhances your ability to succeed in this role.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, or cranes is highly desirable; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and RF scanners helps streamline workflow efficiency.
• Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards ensures a secure working environment.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment documentation.
• Strong manual handling skills with an emphasis on safe lifting techniques are essential for success in this physically demanding role.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
