Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Linehaul CDL A Driver and become a vital part of our logistics network! ClearEdge Logistics, a FedExpress transportation service provider (TSP) is seeking a Linehaul Driver to transport freight between distribution centers over regional routes. This role involves operating a Class A tractor with single and/or double trailers, while adhering to all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Further, we must meet all delivery standards, ensuring timely, secure deliveries in accordance with FedEx operational requirements. Requirements & Qualifications Class A CDL with clean driving record; no more than two preventable accidents in the past three years One year in last 3 years or Five Years in the last 10 years of verifiable CDL A trucking experience No criminal background or a minimum of 10 years clear past last parole Double and triple endorsements prefered Ability to work overnight or extended shifts and meet FedEx home‑time requirements Valid medical certification for commercial drivers Ability to follow prescribed operating proceedures and safety protocols Responsibilities Operate a Class A CDL‑equipped tractor‑trailer on assigned routes between FedEx distribution centers and/or customer locations Maintain vehicle cleanliness, inspect for maintenance issues, and complete required logs Navigate using GPS systems to ensure efficient and timely deliveries while maintaining awareness of route conditions. No touch freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle condition Comply with FMCSA, DOT, and other regulatory standards governing commercial truck driving and cargo handling. Maintain accurate elogs of driving hours, delivery records, and inspection reports in accordance with federal regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery schedules, or any issues encountered during transit. Complete required training modules (including Qualification Certification if applicable) Experience Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a valid CDL A license. Demonstrated ability to operate tractor-trailers Understanding of FMCSA regulations related to hours of service (HOS), load securement, and vehicle maintenance standards. Experience with drop‑and‑hook or live‑load trailers Proficiency with eLog, route planning and GPS systems. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Work Schedule Full Time (4, 5 or 6 day options) and Part Time (1,2 or 3 day options) positions available Home daily; Nights, weekends and weekday operations Requires flexible scheduling to meet FedEx operational needs.
