Light Duty Flatbed Driver

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Light Duty Flatbed Driver and become a vital part of our transportation operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely operating flatbed trucks to transport cargo, assist with vehicle recovery towing, and ensure the secure loading and unloading of vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Safely operate light duty flatbed trucks and tow trucks to transport vehicles, equipment, and cargo across various locations Load and unload cargo with precision, adhering to cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Conduct basic vehicle troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs to ensure optimal truck performance Follow all safety procedures for vehicle loading onto tow trucks and vehicle recovery towing operations Maintain accurate logs of trips, cargo details, and inspection reports in compliance with transportation regulations Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients upon delivery or pickup, addressing any concerns professionally Assist with car towing, vehicle recovery, and mechanical diagnostics as needed to support fleet operations Experience Proven experience with driving tow trucks, quick picks a valid driver’s license suitable for flatbed and tow truck operation Mechanical knowledge related to automotive diagnostics, minor repairs, and troubleshooting for trucks and trailers Familiarity with cargo securement protocols, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and safe vehicle loading procedures Experience in automotive repair or mechanic work is highly desirable Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally Knowledge of manual transmission operation and basic vehicle troubleshooting techniques Prior experience in vehicle recovery towing or car towing Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills, mechanical expertise, and dedication to safety drive our success!
