Lease on -Owner-Operator Driver

Job Overview As a Lease On -Owner-Operator Driver, you’ll operate your own commercial truck under a carrier’s authority to transport freight safely and reliably. You’ll plan your own schedule and route, manage deliveries, and keep your equipment and required records in order. This role may involve flatbeds, dry-van, or hotshot transportation, depending on freight needs. Your impact: Safe, on-time freight delivery helps customers receive the goods they need while supporting dependable supply chains. Responsibilities Drive tractor-trailers book your own loads and make your own schedule. Complete delivery driving, pickup, and freight handling, including loading and unloading cargo when required. Secure and inspect loads; handle manual lifting and logistics cargo handling safely. Follow Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and applicable hazardous materials and dangerous goods regulations. Maintain vehicle condition, driving records, and delivery documentation; communicate route or equipment issues promptly. Qualifications Required: Valid commercial driving credentials and experience with commercial truck driving, and tractor-trailer operation; delivery driver experience is preferred. Required: Safe driving practices and ability to operate a manual transmission where assigned equipment requires it. Preferred: Experience with flatbed trailers, dry-van and hotshot services. Able to perform required manual handling and truck loading and unloading, and to manage the responsibilities of operating as an owner-operator.
