EFC International is seeking a Lead Warehouse Specialist - Receiving and Inventory Control to lead our inbound receiving activities and inventory control processes. This role is responsible for receiving operations, coordinates inventory-related activities, verifies product accuracy, investigates discrepancies, and helps maintain compliance with company procedures. The role also supports training and quality assurance efforts within the warehouse operation. Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are essential. Experience in the construction or fastener industries is a plus. What You'll Do Lead daily receiving and inventory control activities to ensure accuracy, productivity, and compliance with company procedures. Verify inbound shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, purchase orders, and system records. Inspect incoming products for quantity, quality, damage, and compliance with specifications. Accurately receive and record inventory transactions using company inventory management systems. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, reconciliations, and variance investigations. Research, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and damaged goods. Monitor inventory locations and ensure proper product placement, labeling, and stock rotation. Coordinate with Purchasing, Sales, Operations, and Warehouse teams regarding inventory availability and receiving status. Assist in developing and maintaining inventory control procedures and best practices. Generate and maintain receiving, inventory, and audit documentation. Support physical inventory counts and annual inventory audits. Train team members on receiving procedures, inventory transactions, inventory accuracy standards, and quality requirements. Serve as a resource for inventory-related questions and process improvements. Maintain organized, clean, and safe receiving and inventory storage areas. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and warehouse procedures. Assist with other warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Experience in receiving, inventory control, materials management, or warehouse operations. Working knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inventory discrepancies. Experience conducting cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliations. Proficient with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools. Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
