Lead Residential Specialist & Operations Assistant (Eco-Friendly)
ConfidentialWhy Work Here: Join a growing, non-toxic cleaning service where your hands-on care today directly builds into a management role tomorrow. About Sacred House Cleaning Sacred House Cleaning is a growing, independent residential cleaning service dedicated to creating healthy, restorative homes. We prioritize the use of non-toxic, eco-friendly methods and botanical products. As we prepare to expand our services into commercial spaces (including local churches and funeral homes) in 2027, we are looking for a dedicated partner who will help lead our residential operations. The Role We are seeking an ambitious, respectful, emotionally intelligent professional who enjoys cleaning and wants to help manage a growing small business. Initially, this role involves hands-on residential cleaning and mastering our specific eco-friendly standards. As you build trust with our recurring client base, you will transition into an Assistant Manager role—taking over the daily residential schedule, training future hires, and helping manage operations while owner secures new commercial contracts. What You Will Do Hands-On Eco-Cleaning: Perform detailed, high-quality maintenance cleans for our established residential clients using exclusively non-toxic supplies. Client Relations: Act as the face of the company in clients' homes, communicating with warmth, professionalism, and respect. Quality Control: Maintain the brand standard, proactively noticing and addressing areas that need extra attention without needing to be asked. Future Leadership (Assistant Manager Path): Assist with route scheduling, inventory management of cleaning supplies, and eventually train new cleaning technicians as we scale. Who We Are Looking For Detail-Oriented & Caring: You genuinely enjoy cleaning and transforming spaces, taking satisfaction in leaving a home better, more organized and more peaceful than you found it. Reliable & Proactive: You are responsible, trustworthy, and think like an owner. You look for ways to improve processes rather than just checking boxes, and you hold yourself to the highest standard even when no one is watching. Patient & Growth-Minded: You tackle challenges—like a complicated fixture or hard-water stains—with a good attitude. You are a natural problem-solver who communicates well and thrives in a supportive team environment. Eco-Conscious: You have a personal alignment with natural, green living and prefer working without harsh chemicals. Requirements: Must have reliable transportation to travel between client homes in the Portland metro area. Prior professional cleaning experience is a plus, but character and leadership potential are most important to us. The Details Starting Wage: $20.00 per hour (W-2 employment). Wage will scale as management responsibilities are added. Schedule: Flexible part-time hours to start (Mornings or Afternoons available), growing into a full-time schedule as the client roster expands. How to Apply Since we are building our 2027 operations team, we are currently conducting introductory interviews. Please submit your resume along with a couple sentences explaining what draws you to eco-friendly cleaning and what interests you about a leadership path.
