Responsibilities
• Safely operate 3-ton to 5-ton moving trucks.
• Perform vehicle inspections and follow safe driving procedures, including checking overhead clearances.
• Professionally wrap, protect, load, and unload furniture, appliances, and household belongings.
• Properly use moving blankets, dollies, straps, and protective equipment.
• Assist with packing, unpacking, and furniture assembly when required.
• Protect customers' homes, floors, walls, and belongings.
• Coordinate effectively with crew members and maintain an organized, efficient job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Assist with truck rental pickup, equipment preparation, and end-of-day duties as assigned.
• Follow company safety standards and deliver a consistently high-quality moving experience.
Requirements
• Valid full BC driver's licence (Class 5 or higher), appropriate for the assigned vehicle.
• Previous experience confidently operating commercial box trucks or comparable vehicles.
• Acceptable driving record and willingness to provide an ICBC driver's abstract.
• Previous professional moving or furniture delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and carry furniture and other heavy items using proper techniques, equipment, and team assistance.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and respect for customers' property.
• Ability to meet applicable truck rental and insurance eligibility requirements.
• Availability for on-call assignments, including occasional weekends.
Strong Assets:
• BC Class 3 or Class 1 commercial driver's licence.
• Air brake endorsement.
• Experience operating 5-ton moving trucks.
• Previous crew leadership, supervision, or moving-company experience.
• Experience handling high-value furniture and premium residential moves.
• Experience training or mentoring other movers.
What We Offer
• $25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications, plus applicable customer tips.
• Biweekly pay through direct deposit.
• Vacation pay in accordance with BC employment standards.
• Overtime pay in accordance with applicable employment standards.

Scheduling & Availability
This is a part-time, casual/on-call position, with shifts offered based on customer bookings and operational requirements.
Employees will be contacted regarding available assignments and can confirm their availability before being scheduled.
Hours may vary from week to week, and regular weekly hours are not guaranteed.
Some shifts may involve early mornings, weekends, or longer moving days.
