Lead Interior Designer

Oasis Home Collective is a luxury residential interior design studio based in Sarasota, FL. We work across a wide range of aesthetics and project types, including full home renovations, custom new builds, new build spec homes, and furnishings-only projects, serving clients across the Gulf Coast. Our work is layered, deeply intentional, and tailored to each client and home. We are a small, specialized team with big project energy, and we are looking for a Senior Lead Designer to own the design process from concept through completion. What You’ll Be Doing This is a hands-on design and leadership role. You’ll take full ownership of assigned residential projects, directing our design and support team, managing timelines, and representing OHC in front of clients. Our Creative Director sets the initial concept direction; you run everything from there. Lead design from concept layouts and vision boards through detailed selections and final documentation Direct the Associate Designer day-to-day; brief the Drafting Designer and Kitchen & Bath Specialist Present work to the Creative Director for review before client presentations Lead client-facing design presentations Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, and contractors throughout the project Approve product substitutions and review final plan sets Help shape internal systems and workflows as our studio grows What We’re Looking For 4+ years of professional interior design experience A strong portfolio in residential design (this is the first thing we’ll look at) Experience leading projects independently from concept to completion Comfortable directing other designers and collaborating with specialist contractors Confident in client-facing settings: presentations, revisions, and feedback conversations Proficient in Chief Architect , Canva, and HouzzPro (or similar tools; we can train the right person) Based in or near Sarasota, FL; this role is mostly in-studio, not remote What We Offer Annual salary based on experience Paid vacation (5 days) + paid holidays with extended time off Monday-Friday with flexibility available Annual discretionary bonus Access to trade pricing through our vendor network A defined creative aesthetic that gives your work identity and direction A support team that handles ops, procurement, and construction management so you can focus on design Direct creative partnership with the studio founder How to Apply Send your portfolio (PDF or link), a brief note about why you’re interested in OHC, and your resume.
