Lead Equipment Operator / CDL Driver Fresno Landworks LLC — Coshocton County, Ohio$30–$34 per hour, based on experience Call 220-201-6781 Job Overview Fresno Landworks LLC is looking for a dependable, experienced Lead Equipment Operator / CDL Driver to join our growing land-clearing and excavation business. This position is for someone who can work independently and take ownership of jobs from start to finish. The right candidate will be trusted with company equipment, transportation of equipment to and from job sites, and completing work to a high standard without constant supervision. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, takes care of equipment, doesn’t cut corners, and can recognize and solve basic problems in the field. Duties & Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and various attachments safely and efficiently. Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment using company trucks and trailers. Independently complete assigned jobs according to company specifications. Perform drive work, land clearing, brush removal, grading, excavation, and other land management projects. Perform daily pre-operation inspections of equipment. Monitor hydraulic systems, attachments, tracks, fluids, and other equipment components for problems. Perform basic troubleshooting and minor mechanical repairs when qualified. Immediately report equipment damage, mechanical problems, safety concerns, or unexpected job-site conditions. Maintain and properly care for all company equipment. Communicate with your supervisor regarding job progress and any conditions requiring a decision. Maintain a clean and organized truck, trailer, equipment, and job site. Interact professionally with customers when working independently at job sites. Required Qualifications Significant experience operating heavy equipment. Experience hauling and transporting heavy equipment. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to safely operate equipment around customers, structures, vehicles, utilities, and other obstacles. Ability to follow instructions and complete work to company standards. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to recognize equipment problems and communicate them before they become major issues. Preferred Qualifications CDL Class A Or B Previous commercial heavy-equipment hauling experience. Experience operating multiple types of heavy equipment. Experience with forestry mulchers, brush cutters, grapples, Harley rakes, grading attachments, and similar equipment. Excavator experience. Forestry, land clearing, excavation, or dirt-work experience. Diesel, hydraulic, or heavy-equipment mechanical experience. We need someone who can be trusted with expensive equipment and customer properties without the owner having to stand over them all day. The right candidate will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility as Fresno Landworks continues to grow. Compensation & Schedule $30–$34 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Full-time position, generally around 50 hours per week, with additional hours possible depending on workload. Fresno Landworks is a growing seasonal business. Work may slow down during the winter months, and there is a possibility of a temporary layoff or reduced hours during periods when weather and workload limit available work.
