Lead Dispatcher for Ready Mix Operation

Ready Mix Concrete Dispatcher — 3 Plant Locations and growing T exan Concrete is a ready mix concrete supplier serving builders, contractors, and public works projects across greater houston and the surrounding area. With three plant locations and a fleet of mixer trucks on the road every day, our dispatchers are the nerve center of the operation — the people who make sure the right mix, in the right amount, arrives at the right jobsite at the right time. We're looking for a lead dispatcher who can run the board across all three plants. This is a role for someone who thinks in loads, turn times, and pour windows — and who stays steady when the phone is ringing, a truck is stuck in traffic, and a contractor calls for a last-minute add. What You'll Do Schedule and dispatch mixer trucks across three plants, balancing loads, turn times, and driver availability to keep every pour on schedule Receive and enter customer orders accurately, including mix design, yardage, placement method, and requested time Coordinate with plant managers and batch operators on mix designs, slump, admixtures, and pour sequencing Monitor truck status and GPS throughout the day, adjusting routes and reassigning loads for traffic, weather, breakdowns, and plant downtime Handle jobsite issues as they come up — site not ready, over- or under-ordered yards, slow pours, and returned concrete Keep contractors, sales, and project managers informed with clear ETAs and realistic expectations Maintain daily delivery tickets and job records, and complete end-of-day reconciliation Willing to work on Saturdays half day What You'll Need Dispatch experience — ready mix concrete strongly preferred; construction materials, aggregates, or logistics backgrounds are welcome Solid grasp of concrete basics: mix types, yardage, slump, set times, and placement windows Comfort with dispatch and batching software (Command Alkon, Sysdyne, BCMI, or similar) The ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure without losing the details A calm, professional phone manner and clear written communication Willingness to work across all three plant locations, plus rotating Saturdays Nice to Have Batching or plant experience CDL or Class B knowledge Bilingual English and Spanish What We Offer Competitive salaried pay depending on experience Paid time off and paid holidays Stable, year-round work — concrete doesn't take a season off A clear path toward Dispatch Manager and plant management for people who want to grow with us Schedule & Location Home base at 6001 Homestead Rd Houston TX 77028 with regular coverage of our N orth Houston and Porter locations Primary shift [e.g., 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.] , with rotating Saturdays Full-time, year-round position Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Work Location: In person
