Laborer / Company Truck Driver
Environmental AlliesCompensation: $15–$17 per hour. Job type: Full-time. Environmental Allies is hiring a full-time Laborer / Company Truck Driver to support TURF field crews in the Houston area. This position combines hands-on outdoor labor with driving a company pickup truck and towing a trailer to and from assigned jobsites. The company provides the work truck; applicants are not required to own a truck for this position. Responsibilities Drive the company pickup truck between assigned work locations and safely tow and maneuver the assigned trailer. Assist crews with outdoor fence installation and stormwater pollution prevention controls. Load, unload, organize and transport tools, materials and supplies. Use hand tools and assigned equipment safely and follow supervisor instructions. Check the truck, trailer, hitch, lights and load before travel; report damage, maintenance needs and safety concerns. Secure tools and materials, maintain an orderly work area and assist with other field duties as assigned. Valid Class C driver’s license, subject to company driving approval. Experience safely towing and maneuvering gooseneck trailers. Ability to perform the essential outdoor field duties, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Dependability, clear communication and the ability to follow safety instructions. Heavy equipment experience is a plus.
