Kit Fulfillment Technician (Part-Time Contractor)

Working with employers and clinic partners, we make it simple to collect, process, and store cells, starting with a collection kit that arrives ready to use. The Kit Fulfillment Technician supports the preparation and shipment of the collection kits Reservoir provides to our partners. This includes assembling and packaging kits in accordance with Good Tissue Practice (GTP), managing kit component inventory, coordinating shipments with our transport partners, and maintaining accurate records of kit production. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. They understand that every kit is the first step in a customer's experience, and they speak up quickly when something doesn't look right. This is a part-time, in-person position of approximately 20 hours/week, with scheduling aligned to kit production and shipping needs. The Kit Fulfillment Technician will be a member of the production team. Responsibilities Assemble, label, and package collection kits according to SOPs and work instructions, in compliance with Good Tissue Practice (21 CFR Part 1271) requirements Perform line clearance before each kitting run and reconcile labels and components afterward Verify kit component identity, lot numbers, and expiration dates before use, and record them in kit production records to maintain full traceability Manage inventory of kit components and packaging materials, including receiving, inspecting incoming materials, rotating stock first-expiry-first-out (FEFO), and segregating expired or nonconforming items Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking orders to prevent shortages Schedule package pickups with transport partners, prepare shipping documentation, and confirm shipments are tendered on time Track kit production, shipments, and inventory in spreadsheets and tracking tools, and keep records complete and current Complete all documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Identify, document, and promptly report discrepancies, deviations, nonconforming materials, shipping issues, or other problems to the supervisor and Quality Provide feedback on SOPs and work instructions to keep them accurate and practical Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitting and packaging area, tools, and supplies Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in kitting, packaging, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, inventory control, or lab support, preferably in a regulated environment Ability to follow detailed SOPs consistently and accurately Meticulous attention to detail, especially with labels, lot numbers, and expiration dates Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage recurring tasks on a schedule with minimal supervision Clear written and verbal communication, and willingness to raise issues promptly Comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and basic computer tools for tracking and email communication Reliable and punctual, with flexibility to adjust hours around shipping deadlines Nice to Have Experience working under GTP, GMP, or GLP, or in another FDA-regulated environment Familiarity with Good Documentation Practices (GDP / ALCOA+ principles) Experience with assembling, booking shipments, and inventory management in a clinical, specimen collection, or diagnostic industry Actual compensation is determined based on experience, education, role-specific competencies, internal equity with employees in similar positions, and employer-verified market data provided by an independent third-party partner.
