nistration team, you will help ensure customs compliance while supporting business goals, operational performance, and cost-saving initiatives. You’ll work closely with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep goods moving compliantly and efficiently.What You Will DoManage import compliance activities across the U.S. and CanadaMonitor trade regulations, tariffs, sanctions, and free trade agreements to ensure ongoing complianceSupport customs audits, inquiries, disclosures, and reconciliationsPartner with internal teams and external providers, including brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies, to resolve compliance mattersProvide guidance on customs valuation, product classification, and import/export requirementsEnsure compliance with key trade programs and regulations, including USMCA/CUSMA, Section 301, Section 232, and SIMAMaintain and improve trade compliance procedures, documentation, and internal controlsManage Certificates of Origin, classification data, duty rates, and related records in the ERP systemSupport shipping and logistics teams with customs documentation, transportation compliance, and export requirementsIdentify cost-saving opportunities through duty recovery, deferral, foreign trade zones, and free trade programsUse ACE and CARM to monitor activity, generate reports, and track compliance performanceReview broker and freight forwarder performance and support continuous improvement
