Description: Jr Buyer – 1st Shift Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm Job Type: Full-time Location: Duncan, SC Job Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services required by the company. Maintain and update purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Conduct market research to identify cost-effective suppliers and monitor industry trends. Communicate with vendors to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Collaborate with internal departments to understand procurement needs and specifications. Track inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet operational demands. Prepare reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance. Resolve issues related to orders, invoices, or supplier discrepancies. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to ensure accurate procurement records. Qualifications & Requirements: Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (required) Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) 0-2 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
