Communicate with international suppliers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery schedules. Track shipments and provide updates on expected arrival dates. Prepare and maintain purchase orders, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documentation. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics providers when required. Verify shipment quantities and documentation against purchase orders. Monitor delivery delays and communicate potential supply issues to management. Maintain organized records of suppliers, shipments, costs, and import transactions. Coordinate with inventory and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment of essential products. Help ensure imported food products meet applicable documentation, storage, and handling requirements. Follow company procedures and applicable import regulations. Requirements Previous experience in import coordination, purchasing, logistics, or supply chain operations preferred. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Familiarity with purchase orders, invoices, and shipping documentation. Proficiency in spreadsheets and standard office software. Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of international shipping and customs procedures is an advantage. Preferred Skills Experience handling Italian food products or specialty food imports. Familiarity with international suppliers and freight coordination. Understanding of import documentation and customs clearance processes. Knowledge of inventory planning and supplier relationship management. Italian language skills are a plus.
