By maintaining organized yards, managing inventory, and ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed, the Inventory & Yard Coordinator helps reduce downtime and support the productivity of our I&E, Mechanical, and Maintenance teams. Accurate inventory management and material accountability contribute directly to operational reliability and business performance. Summary The Inventory & Yard Coordinator is responsible for receiving, organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory, equipment, and materials that support field operations. Reporting to the I&E Foreman, this position oversees yards, Conex boxes, and storage areas used by the I&E, Mechanical, and Maintenance teams. The role helps ensure inventory accuracy, material availability, and a safe, organized work environment while providing support across multiple operational groups. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions Yard & Warehouse Management Organize and maintain company yards, storage areas, laydown yards, and Conex boxes. Ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are properly stored, labeled, and readily accessible. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in accordance with company safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of yards and storage areas to identify housekeeping, safety, or inventory concerns. Coordinate disposal, salvage, and surplus material management activities. Inventory Control Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials, equipment, and supplies. Issue materials to field personnel and maintain accurate inventory records. Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management. Track consumables, spare parts, tools, and other critical operational inventory. Maintain inventory databases, spreadsheets, and company tracking systems. Manage and maintain material transfer (MT) inventories and associated records. Support inventory forecasting and identification of stocking requirements. Material & Equipment Coordination Assist with material transfers between yards, facilities, and field locations. Coordinate deliveries and shipments with vendors, suppliers, and internal personnel. Support equipment staging for planned maintenance, projects, and operational activities. Prepare materials and equipment packages for field crews. Track and manage company-owned materials, tools, and equipment. Monitor equipment and material locations to ensure accountability. Assist field personnel with locating and obtaining required materials. Material Handling & Transfer Unload deliveries and equipment received at the yards using company-provided …
