Inventory & Warehouse Manager - Plumbing

Desert Water Plumbing & Rooter - Deer Valley area, Phoenix 85027 Full-time, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM start WHO WE ARE We're an established Phoenix plumbing company with 12 trucks running service, water heater, water filtration and repair jobs across the Valley. We're growing, and we're done with techs losing an hour a day driving to the supply house. We need one person to own our parts. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build our truck stock and warehouse system, then run it every day - Pick and stage parts and equipment for the next day's jobs before the trucks roll out - Restock trucks to standard lists and count trucks on a regular schedule - Receive orders from Ferguson, Wood Bros and other suppliers and check them against the invoices - Keep warehouse counts accurate: water heaters, softeners, RO systems, fittings, valves - Use our software to track what's used on each job and what to reorder (we built the reporting, you make it real) - Make parts runs and job-site deliveries when needed so techs stay on the job - Full warehouse duties: shipping and receiving, loading and unloading, putting stock away, handling returns and core/credit returns to suppliers - Track tools and equipment in and out of the warehouse - Keep the shop clean, organized and lean WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 2+ years in a plumbing or HVAC supply house, or running inventory for a trade shop (Ferguson, Hughes, Winsupply, Reece or Standard is a big plus) - You know plumbing parts by name. You know a 3/4" sweat ball valve from a 3/4" FIP. - Organized and accurate. You count it right the first time. - Comfortable on a computer or tablet and with scanners (ServiceTitan or HouseCall Pro a plus) - Can lift 75+ lbs and move water heaters with a dolly - Valid driver's license and clean record; forklift a plus - You're early. Our trucks leave at 7:00.
