A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN INVENTORY SUPERVISOR As an Inventory Supervisor, you are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and overseeing the movement of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure our manufacturing team has the parts and materials needed to meet project deadlines. You will manage the picking schedule, inventory software, and inventory staff while picking and processing projects, spare parts orders, warranty orders, and internal jobs. Using our ERP system, you will accurately record materials issued and returned, keep inventory information current, and follow established accounting procedures. You will also conduct cycle counts and physical inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain appropriate inventory levels of finished equipment and components. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential as you coach your team, coordinate daily priorities, and implement departmental processes and procedures. In addition, you will maintain an organized inventory area by planning layout improvements, inspecting equipment, arranging repairs and replacements, and monitoring security procedures to safeguard inventory. SKILLSQUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INVENTORY SUPERVISOR Ability to effectively coach and supervise others Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively utilize the company ERP software system Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment Forklift and aerial lift experience preferred; ability to become certified within 30 days required Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally Ability to read and interpret blueprints Knowledge of measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures Strong mathematical ability Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred EDUCATIONEXPERIENCE Associate's degree…
