Job Summary Aquiform is looking for an Inventory & Purchasing Analyst to help maintain healthy inventory levels across our product lines and provide the purchasing team with accurate, timely information to support buying decisions. This position will be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, identifying products that require attention, maintaining inventory and replenishment information, analyzing sales and inventory trends, and helping ensure that the right products are available at the right time. The successful candidate will work closely with the Purchasing team, Sales, and other departments to identify potential stockouts, excess inventory, slow-moving products, and other inventory issues before they become problems. This is an analytical and inventory-focused role . The position will support the purchasing team rather than being responsible for the company's major purchasing decisions. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management Monitor inventory levels, stockouts, excess, and slow-moving products. Maintain inventory parameters, replenishment data, and planning information. Identify inventory issues early and coordinate follow-up with Purchasing. Develop strategies to reduce aged and excess inventory. Purchasing Support Analyze inventory, sales, open POs, lead times, and demand to support purchasing decisions. Prepare suggested reorder quantities and monitor outstanding purchase orders. Identify supplier delays and potential supply issues. Sales & Demand Analysis Analyze sales trends, seasonality, and changes in demand. Support forecasting and replenishment planning. Identify products requiring increased or decreased inventory. Reporting & Analysis Build and maintain inventory and purchasing reports and dashboards. Track key inventory metrics and investigate data discrepancies. Automate reporting and turn data into practical recommendations. Cross-Department Support Work with Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, and Management to resolve inventory issues. Support product analysis, inventory projects, and process improvements. Qualifications 2–5 years of experience in inventory management, purchasing, supply chain, planning, or data analysis. Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, or a related field. Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookups, formulas, and data analysis. Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems. Experience analyzing sales, inventory, and purchasing data. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify issues, prioritize, and take action. Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
