Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in optimizing inventory processes, managing supply chain activities, and ensuring seamless warehouse operations. Your expertise will help improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support our company's mission of delivering high-quality products. Duties Maintain an accurate inventory of raw materials, purchased parts, work in process and finished goods. Assumes responsibility for accurate counting of inventory. Checks condition of inventory while counting for signs of deterioration. Works well with other people. Oversees disposal of obsolete or scrap inventory. Needs to work on his/her own, must be a self-starter type person. Manage cycle count process. Review production order variances. Helps ensure timely closing and purge of production orders. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, or supply chain management within a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform financial modeling, pricing analysis, and data analytics using spreadsheets (Excel) and SQL. Knowledge of materials handling equipment including forklift operation, micrometer, calipers, tape measue and blue print reading. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate with procurement, logistics, merchandising, production planning, and other teams. Physical ability for heavy lifting when required; experience in materials handling is advantageous. Familiarity with demand planning techniques, supply chain analytics, inventory management software, and production planning processes.
