Inventory Management Manager
LaddersFor our client, we are seeking a Inventory Management Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will own inventory strategy for assigned categories, with a focus on planning discipline, stock health, and cross-functional decision-making. The manager will partner closely with operations, supply chain, and supplier stakeholders to support broader distribution objectives and measurable business outcomes. This position also plays a key role in governance, data-driven analysis, and continuous improvement across inventory processes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually Responsibilities Own overall inventory strategy and decision-making for assigned categories Utilize the internal SKU selection tool and maintain the stocking workflow Analyze stock turnover and enforce replenishment order governance Lead initiatives to reduce dead stock and coordinate with stakeholders Ensure inventory actions align with broader distribution strategies Manage supplier engagement related to inventory coordination and agreements Contribute to quality management systems as a foundational responsibility Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree a plus 5-8 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain operations, or category management Proven ownership of inventory strategy and measurable P&L outcomes Strong command of inventory planning principles and techniques Skilled in cross-functional coordination through influence rather than direct authority Proficient in data analysis tools and ERP/inventory planning systems; experience with analytical tools preferred Effective communicator capable of translating strategy into actionable insights Benefits Comprehensive remote work flexibility with occasional travel requirements Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Access to a collaborative cross-functional work environment Engagement in strategic inventory management that impacts organizational growth Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
