Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/ As an Inventory Lead, you will play a key role in the optimization of our total inventory, including field inventory, improving product availability to customers and positively impacting our financials. You will work in collaboration with our Supply Chain Planning and our Commercial and Finance teams. Key Responsibilities Working Capital efficiency: using sales data, identify and recommend actions to optimize inventory across the Canadian network. Provide recommendations to place inventory where it could increase turns and retrieve inventory when and where it is no longer needed. Life Cycle Management: based on Marketing portfolio timelines, retrieve inventory from consignment locations as soon as product lines become obsolete, customer account is closed, or new technology is deployed. Expiry Management: establish a process to identify expiry risk and take action to retrieve inventory before it expires. Complete deployments and retrievals of field inventory in coordination with the Supply Planning and Deliver teams in accordance with overall consigned inventory strategy Ensure positive relationship and end-to-end alignment with key functions: commercial organizations, local and regional supply chain organizations Find opportunities for continuous improvement to be implemented in functional processes. Responsible for the execution of the SOx controls for inventory in consignment.
