Place and manage purchase orders with veterinary suppliers and coordinate timely deliveries. Track product usage, identify ordering trends, and establish appropriate par levels and reorder points. Receive, inspect, label, organize, and properly store incoming shipments according to hospital protocols. Monitor product expiry dates and rotate stock using appropriate inventory management practices to minimize waste and product loss. Coordinate the safe handling and storage of controlled substances and other regulated products in accordance with applicable policies and regulations. Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient inventory and storage system throughout the hospital. Assist with implementing and improving inventory procedures, policies, and tracking systems. Track employee uniform allowances and coordinate uniform ordering as required. Receive, unpack, verify, and organize incoming orders and supplies. Maintain accurate retail pricing and update product labels as required. Process client returns and ensure appropriate documentation and adjustments are completed. Manage and process staff billing in accordance with hospital policies. Provide Reception and Technician Assistant coverage as required based on operational needs. Contribute to a collaborative, professional, and supportive workplace culture while helping ensure the clinical team has the resources needed to provide excellent patient care.
