We are looking for an Inventory Controller to join our Warehouse team! Our Inventory Controller will primarily be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of our inventory and data!
Opportunities
In this role, you will be working alongside our Warehouse Supervisor in our busy and dynamic Warehouse environment! It is key for you to be detail-oriented, organized, and responsible for your work as it has a direct impact on the accuracy of our inventory supplies! You will be expected to demonstrate a wide degree of creativity, latitude, and organizational skills as you develop a thorough understanding of our products and supply requirements! You must be able to work well in a very fast-paced environment resolving issues and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. At the same time, this allows you the opportunity to stay current with the latest inventory procedures, technology, tools, and more as you exercise your creativity to the max!

Experience
  • Worked in purchasing, manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics.
  • 3 years or more of inventory experience
  • Proven track record of success in managing inventory, developing inventory control systems, and forecasting needs.
  • MRP (Material Resource Planning) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning) systems experience

Nice-to-Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
  • Certifications in CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or ASCM (Association for Supply Chain Management)
  • Mobile Equipment experience or certification

things you will do…


 
  • Review inventory levels to ensure they are sufficient to meet production demand.
  • Coordinate with the production team to ensure completeness of the inventory transfers
  • Validate accuracy of receiving and shipping transactions
  • Place transfers for stock replenishment from 3PLs as in conjunction of our daily inbounds
  • Identify potential shortfalls of inventory.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy which may involve reconciling inventory records and investigating discrepancies.
  • Generate weekly, bi-weekly and monthly inventory reports and presenting to Management team
  • Perform periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory is accurate and investigate discrepancies. Ensure periodic reporting is providing showing over time inventory accuracy progress
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, adjustments, and transfers, using the company inventory management software
  • Develop and monitor inventory control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for our industry
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel or other team members involved in inventory-related tasks, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Point person for mock recalls, traceability, & mass balance, including developing and implementing contingency plans for inventory emergencies, in order to minimize disruptions for Operations
  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and finance, to align inventory management activities with overall business objectives and strategies.
  • Implement and oversee stock rotation practices to minimize product expiration or obsolescence, ensuring the oldest inventory is used first (First-In-First-Out or FIFO, Last-In-First-Out or LIFO, etc.).
