Inventory Controller – 3PL Warehouse Company: ProShipper Inc. Location: Greater Toronto Area, Ontario Job Type: Ajax, Ontario Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Compensation: Based on experience, with benefits About ProShipper ProShipper is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company specializing in warehousing, inventory management, and eCommerce fulfillment. We handle high-value goods, big and bulky products, cosmetics, apparel, and everything in between. We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Inventory Controller to maintain inventory accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and support daily warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities Perform daily cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock verifications. Investigate inventory discrepancies, shortages, overages, and missing products. Respond to client inquiries regarding inventory discrepancies and provide timely resolutions. Monitor inventory reports, stock adjustments, negative inventory, and unusual inventory movements. Identify root causes of inventory errors and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate inventory records within our Warehouse Management System (ShipHero). Assist the Receiving Department with inbound shipments, product verification, and discrepancy investigations. Support inventory putaway, replenishment, and warehouse organization. Act as a backup for picking, packing, and shipping operations when required. Maintain accurate documentation of investigations, adjustments, and audit results. Recommend improvements to inventory accuracy and warehouse procedures. Qualifications Previous inventory control or warehouse experience required; 3PL experience preferred. Experience with WMS software; ShipHero experience is an asset. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting. Excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Ability to work independently and take ownership of inventory accuracy. Forklift or reach truck experience is an asset. Comfortable working both at a computer and on the warehouse floor. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is proactive, accountable, and investigative.
