Role Overview: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accuracy and integrity of inventory records across the organization. This role will oversee cycle counting, adjustments, inventory investigations, and year-end inventory procedures, ensuring reliable data to support production, stockroom operations, and customer fulfillment. Key Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Investigate inventory variances and perform root cause analysis. Maintain accurate reporting on inventory activity and results. Support stockroom and production teams by researching inventory-related transactions and troubleshooting issues. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures, rules, and regulations. Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications. Store articles in bins, on floors, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or material type. Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or stockroom operations Familiarity with ERP systems (IFS preferred) and strong Excel skills Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain one Understanding of inventory control principles, including cycle counting and lot/serial tracking Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to data accuracy Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment High school diploma or equivalent Why Join Us: At RAE Corporation, accuracy, reliability, and teamwork are at the core of what we do.
