DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal Inventory
• Daily inventory investigations. transaction analysis and adjustments.
• Cycle count adjustments.
• Inventory analysis for management, shop floor, Customers, planning.
• (Unallocated, rejected, hold, safety stocks, buffers).
• Plan and execute CSR annual physical inventory count
• Assist with month-end inventory reporting
• Monitor storage tank inventories
Customer Inventory
• Daily inventory investigations.
• Transaction analysis and adjustments.
• Oversee and coordinate annual Customer physical inventory counts as required
• Respond to Customer inventory requests. (reporting, disposals)
• Customer cycle count adjustments
NCR’s
• Physical counts on rejected materials
• Manage and coordinate disposals of Customer/Supplier materials
• Manage NCR costing – labour, materials, disposal, rework, other.
• Assignment Tracking of NCR disposal costs
• Coordinate Customer/Supplier action items. (Locate, disposals, returns, credits, scrap, rework, sorts, obtaining customer pricing, movement of goods to dock)
Waste Management
• Oversee the destruction of all product waste
• (packaging, raw materials, bulks, WIP and finished goods)
• Maintain item waste class database
• Assist in organizing, storage and disposal of waste
• Coordinate and oversee preparation and pickup of all waste. Create manifests. Load trucks
• Manage cardboard bale sale program. (costing, pickups, sales tracking)
• Maintain HWIN government database. (reporting, payments, maintenance, review)
• Collect and submit SDS’s required for material disposals
• Work closely with Environmental Service vendor on waste classes
• Development of waste management internal work instructions
• Arrange testing of unidentified materials in waste drums/totes
• Create/maintain procedures and work instructions
• Monitor drum truck and schedule pickups

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS
Education:
• Completion of Post-Secondary education in a related field
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) training
• Valid Forklift Certification
• Occupational Health & Safety training
Skills & Experience
• Minimum 5-years inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory control and business management systems.
• Familiarity with Health Canada, FDA, and GMP requirements.
• Experience with Cycle Count System development and implementation.
• Knowledge of Waste Management and HWIN (Hazardous Waste Information Network).
• Business planning and budgeting experience
• SOP/Work instruction development.
• Strong Problem solving skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Outstanding analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) as required.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office required.
• ERP system knowledge an asset.
