Inventory Control Coordinator
Electro Soft, IncJob Title: Stockroom Attendant Company: Electro Soft, Inc. Department: Operations / Inventory Control Run our stockroom. Own it end to end. This is not a put-boxes-on-shelves job. Our stockroom is where every build either starts clean or starts short. You'll own the room: what comes in, what gets counted, what gets kitted, and what goes out to the floor. When an assembler opens a kit, everything they need is in it. That's the job. Electro Soft is a family-owned, woman-owned electronics contract manufacturer in Montgomeryville, founded in 1986 and ISO 9001:2015 certified. We build wire harnesses, cable assemblies, circuit boards, and cabinet assemblies for aviation, rail, transit, defense, and OEM customers, all in-house. We're 32 people, and most of our team has been here ten years or more. We're small enough that this role matters visibly. If the stockroom runs well, the floor runs well, and everyone here knows it. WHAT YOU'LL DO Receive incoming material, verify against the PO and packing slip, and inspect for damage or shortages Stock, label, and organize material so anyone can find it without asking Pull and kit parts against the bill of material for each work order, and get kits to the floor complete and on time Run cycle counts and keep inventory accurate in our system; investigate and resolve discrepancies rather than adjusting them away Maintain lot traceability and documentation to ISO 9001 standards Flag low stock and shortages early, before they stop a build Pack and ship finished product, and prepare shipping paperwork Keep the stockroom clean, safe, and organized WHAT YOU NEED Essential functions of the role, which can be performed with or without reasonable accommodation: Experience running or helping run a stockroom, inventory crib, or materials function in a manufacturing environment Comfort in a manufacturing ERP or MRP system — any of them: Epicor, JobBOSS, SAP, Syteline, Global Shop, Fishbowl, NetSuite, or similar Ability to read a bill of material and pull the right part, including telling near-identical parts apart by part number Cycle counting experience and real care about inventory accuracy; basic Excel Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet through the shift; HS diploma or GED Reliable attendance and commitment to a full 40-hour week Nice to have: electronics, wire, cable, or connector component knowledge; forklift certification or willingness to get certified; ISO 9001, AS9100, or ITAR environment experience; shipping and receiving documentation.
