The Opportunity We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Inventory Control and Customs, this position is responsible for helping maintain accurate inventory records, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting the overall integrity of our inventory system. The ideal candidate is analytical, comfortable working with numbers and systems, and enjoys problem-solving and working collaboratively with different departments. What You’ll Do Perform and validate physical inventory cycle counts and investigate discrepancies. Verify and accurately enter inventory-related information into the company’s computer system. Investigate and resolve differences between physical and system inventory. Process authorized inventory adjustments and transfers between locations. Maintain accurate inventory and item master information, including part numbers, descriptions, bin locations and supersessions. Monitor inventory levels and identify low stock, backorders, surplus, obsolete and slow-moving inventory. Prepare and review inventory reports and provide supporting information to Purchasing and Accounting. Assist with annual physical inventory counts and reconciliation. Work closely with Purchasing, Accounting, Warehouse and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues. Maintain accurate documentation and follow established inventory control and health and safety procedures. What You Bring Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working with inventory systems, data and reports. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Ability to investigate discrepancies and identify potential solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Previous inventory control, warehouse, parts or related experience is an asset.
