MillenniumSoft IncPosition : Inventory Control Clerk Location : Four Oaks, NC Duration : 12 Months Total Hours/week : 40.00 2ND Shift Client : Medical Devices Company Job Category : Light Industrial Pay Rate: $19.25/hr Employment Type : Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders or GC EAD or OPT or EAD or CPT Job Summary The Inventory Control Clerk is responsible for inventory-related functions to maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished goods, supporting the Manufacturing and Quality departments. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM-10:30 PM. Candidate must be flexible to work weekends if requested (no exceptions). 10-panel drug screening required (must be completed within 48 hours of job offer acceptance). Candidate will receive 2 weeks of training. Climate-controlled environment. Roles & Responsibilities Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing material transactions (receiving, shipping, transferring, counting of raw materials and finished goods); generate ERP system reports as needed Reconcile discrepancies between perpetual inventory records and actual physical counts Conduct periodic cycle counts as directed by management to ensure system integrity Assist in investigating anomalies found during daily activities or cycle counts Coordinate destruction of obsolete, excess, or unusable materials as directed by management Other duties as assigned Experience Previous work experience with Excel and Microsoft Office Suite required (no exceptions) Forklift experience required - minimum 6 months Previous inventory clerk experience in a manufacturing environment - first preference Key Skills Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) Strong math skills Forklift operation Reading/writing English-language documentation Knowledge of manufacturing processes - preferred Excellent communication skills Eligibility & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Steel toe or composite shoes required Must clear all background checks and drug screening before starting
