Inventory Clerk
KoCoS America LLCOverview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team. Duties 1. Inventory clerk and control · Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments · Work from packing lists, routing instructions, and general instructions · Verify quantities, part numbers, and condition of items against packing slips or purchase orders · Update inventory records for receipts, transfers, and adjustments · Organize and store materials in the correct stockroom or warehouse locations · Pick, pack, and issue materials for internal use or outgoing orders · Conduct cycle counts and performs physical inventory audits · Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies · Label, tag, and maintain accurate identification of stock items · Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or reorder needs · Coordinate with shipping, receiving, purchasing, and production teams · Prepare shipping documents and arrange outgoing deliveries · Ability to repeatedly lift weights up to 50 pounds Track stock movement and maintain accurate on-hand quantities Monitor reorder points and communicate restocking needs Reduce inventory loss through accurate recordkeeping and control procedures 2. Warehouse Organization Organize stock by location, category, and item number for easy retrieval Maintain clean, safe, and orderly storage and work areas Label shelves, bins, and materials clearly and accurately Rotate stock when needed and manage obsolete or damaged inventory Maintain efficient material flow between receiving, storage, and shipping areas 3. ERP / Software Use Use inventory management or ERP systems to record receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments Maintain accurate item data, locations, and transaction history in software systems Generate inventory reports and review stock status for planning and replenishment Perform data entry and system updates related to shipping, receiving, and inventory control Ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner 4. Administrative Tasks Maintain accurate filing and recordkeeping for inventory, shipping, and receiving documents Prepare and process reports, spreadsheets, and routine inventory documentation Perform purchase order, invoice, and other administrative paperwork processing Respond to internal requests regarding stock availability, order status, and inventory records Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments to maintain daily operations Schedule pickups, deliveries, and follow-up communication as needed Perform general office duties such as data entry, document organization, and email communication Manage service schedules, coordinate appointments, and maintain technicians’ calendars Prepare, review, and submit expense reports and supporting documentation in a timely manner Coordinate service calls, maintain service records, and perform work order documentation Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal staff regarding service schedules, updates, and follow-up needs Perform service department data entry, document preparation, filing, and other day-to-day administrative tasks Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Paid time off Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Inventory management: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Westerly, RI 02891 (Required) Work Location: In person
