We are a locally operated retail and custom merchandise company located on the beautiful Oregon Coast, and we're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team in Seaside. Previous inventory or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required . We are willing to train the right person and are primarily looking for someone who is organized, reliable, comfortable with hands-on work, and capable of staying productive without constant supervision. About the Position Our Inventory Associates help keep merchandise organized and moving where it needs to go. This is an active, behind-the-scenes position that plays an important role in keeping our retail operations stocked and running efficiently. The work can be repetitive and detail-oriented, so this position is a particularly good fit for someone who enjoys organization, routine, and the satisfaction of completing tasks accurately. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include: ● Receive and process incoming merchandise ● Sort, organize, and prepare products for use in our retail locations ● Count and verify merchandise for accuracy ● Fold, size, tag, and organize apparel and other products ● Prepare merchandise for distribution between company locations ● Maintain organized inventory and storage areas ● Assist with inventory counts and identifying discrepancies ● Move merchandise and supplies throughout inventory and storage areas ● Follow established inventory procedures and organizational systems ● Communicate inventory issues, shortages, or discrepancies to management ● Assist with other inventory-related projects as needed What We're Looking For A strong candidate for this position: ● Is highly organized and detail-oriented ● Is comfortable performing repetitive tasks for extended periods ● Can maintain accuracy even while completing routine work ● Is comfortable working independently ● Can maintain a consistent work pace without constant supervision ● Follows established procedures and organizational systems ● Is dependable and consistent in attendance and work habits ● Takes responsibility for the accuracy of their work ● Is comfortable being on their feet and physically active throughout much of the workday ● Can safely lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed ● Communicates clearly when they notice a mistake, discrepancy, or potential problem ● Is willing to learn and receptive to feedback Experience with inventory, receiving, stocking, warehousing, fulfillment, retail merchandise, or similar work is a plus, but we encourage candidates without direct experience to apply.
