Job Description: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for assisting the Inventory Manager with all aspects of obtaining and bringing in all products for sale in Tree of Life, including: sales forecasting; anticipating sales trends; regulatory and policy compliance; and inventory control and management. Therefore, the Inventory Specialist must have a solid knowledge of cannabis as well as any other products available (such as edibles and other infused products). S/he must be able to anticipate trends in sales. And s/he must understand cultivation and production, as well cannabis testing. S/he must also be knowledgeable about Nevada state and local laws pertaining to cannabis. The Inventory Specialist must be a self-starter capable of finding and evaluating business opportunities. S/he also must be computer literate and able to use Point of Sale (POS) equipment and software. We are looking for people to grow with us and to be a part of our strong team environment. Specific Responsibilities: Supervise all dispensary operations pertaining to the acquisition and following inventory protocols related to all types of cannabis. Receiving orders physically and ensuring all proper documentation is present Maintaining all paper and digital inventory files including lab results Receiving orders digitally across POS and state compliance software systems Processing orders (weighing, bagging, and/or applying stickers) Communicating processing needs with management Assist in t…
