Sheikhani GroupJob Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Inventory Associate to join our team and drive excellence in supply chain and warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, optimizing stock processes, and ensuring the accuracy of data across multiple systems. Your proactive approach will support efficient procurement, logistics, and materials handling, contributing to seamless order fulfillment and overall warehouse productivity. Responsibilities Monitor and manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as AS400 and SAP. Conduct data mining and analysis to identify stock discrepancies, root causes of inventory issues, and opportunities for process improvement. Collaborate with procurement, sourcing, and category management teams to optimize purchasing strategies and supplier relationships. Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau to create reports that inform demand planning, pricing strategies, and inventory forecasts. Perform regular cycle counts, physical audits, and materials handling to maintain accurate stock records. Support logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and materials management while adhering to safety standards such as heavy lifting protocols. Analyze supply chain analytics to improve stocking strategies, reduce waste, and streamline warehouse operations. Experience Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management software, or supply chain analytics. Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AS400), Excel data analysis, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and category management within a warehouse or retail environment. Familiarity with procurement processes, contracts management, logistics inventory management, and demand planning. Experience working with cross-functional teams including sourcing, merchandising, logistics, and production planning. Knowledge of materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred) and 3PL (third-party logistics) providers.
