Growing designer and manufacturer of performance engines is seeking a full-time Inventory & Logistics Associate to join their growing team! You will play a critical, high-impact role in the supply chain, managing the life cycle of parts from receipt to final destination. This unique position balances specialized desktop inventory transactions using Epicor ERP with hands-on physical warehouse operations, forklift material handling, and regional logistics driving. Essential Duties Inventory Integrity: Execute and monitor real-time inventory transactions (shipping, receiving, parts movements) within Epicor ERP to maintain inventory accuracy. Cycle Counting & Auditing : Conduct daily inventory cycle counts, evaluate on-hand balances, and proactively investigate any variances thoroughly. Discrepancy Investigation : Apply root-cause analysis to investigate and reconcile inventory variances, implementing preventive logic to resolve errors. Consumables Management : Maintain stock for production consumables (gloves, lubricants, zip ties, etc.) to eliminate shop shortages. Parts Picking: Complete parts-picking ordered by the Build Shop, confirming proper transaction in the system (Epicor). Extended Logistics Driving : Securely load, transport, and deliver essential cargo, engines, parts, and materials to and from customers and vendors/suppliers within a regional 300-mile radius. Safety Operations: Safely operate, inspect, prep, and maintain company delivery/movement assets (cargo vans, box truck, forklifts) in strict compliance with OSHA/DOT safety regulations. Industrial Material Handling : Safely operate heavy machinery (forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks) to move, stack, retrieve, and high-rack heavy parts. Freight Movement: Safely and efficiently load and unload incoming and outgoing freight carriers, commercial flatbeds, and internal delivery vehicles. Organization : Enforce meticulous organization, 5S standards, and general safety protocols inside the Stock Room, Truck Bay, Truck Pad, and Loading Dock environments. Inbound Receiving Duties: Inspect, cross-reference, log, and sort incoming parts and raw materials against supplier manifests/packing slips and purchase orders. Outbound Shipping Preparation: Pack, safely secure, crate, label, and create proper documentation for outbound small parcel and LTL shipments. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of Warehouse/Logistics, Shipping and Receiving, and Inventory Control experience, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Chauffeur's License and DOT physical required (or mandatory completion within 30 days of hire). Prior forklift certification also required (will recertify upon hire) along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
