ABOUT THE ROLE ASC is growing, and we’re looking for an Inventory & Logistics Manager to support the buildout of our new building! In this role, you’ll lead the movement of parts, materials, and shipments across our facilities, keeping inventory organized, production supplied, and deliveries on track. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Coordinate inventory and logistics setup for ASC’s new building, including storage locations, staging areas, and material transfers. Plan the flow of parts, materials, and equipment between facilities to support production schedules. Coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound shipments with Purchasing, Production, and field personnel. Schedule freight pickups and deliveries, compare carrier quotes, and select reliable, cost-effective transportation. Track shipments through delivery and resolve delays, shortages, damage, and freight claims. Coordinate shipment preparation for large equipment and finished products, including packaging, loading arrangements, and carrier requirements. Manage parts pulling, job-specific kits, field shipments, and the return of unused materials. Oversee shipping and receiving accuracy, including delivery verification, labeling, packing lists, and shipping documentation. Maintain accurate inventory records using ASC software, oversee cycle counts, and coordinate stock replenishment. Improve storage layouts, delivery schedules, and material handling procedures to reduce unnecessary transfers and costs. Maintain safe, organized receiving, storage, loading, and shipping areas across ASC’s facilities. REQUIREMENTS At least five years of progressive experience in inventory management, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in manufacturing. Hands-on experience with shipping, receiving, freight scheduling, and carrier coordination. Experience arranging transportation for large equipment or oversized shipments. Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counts, parts kitting, and material flow across multiple facilities. Ability to compare freight quotes, track deliveries, and resolve shipping issues. Experience using inventory management or ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
