Summary Alkon Corporation is a leading company in the industry, known for our commitment to quality and excellence in manufacturing. We are seeking an Inventory Adjustor who is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all inventory-related transactions within Alkon’s ERP system. This role supports production, shipping, receiving, and purchasing functions by accurately processing system transactions, reconciling physical inventory to system records, and identifying discrepancies. The Inventory Adjustor plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting financial controls, and enforcing established inventory management procedures. Essential Functions Accurately enter and process all inventory transactions in the ERP system, including: Shipping transactions Receiving transactions Production reporting Scrap reporting Inventory issues Receipts and transfers Perform daily physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stock to ERP system quantities Verify daily receiving documentation against physical receipts and communicate discrepancies to Purchasing and Management Process and document Return to Vendor (RTV) transactions in accordance with established procedures Conduct daily cycle counts and document findings Maintain and update shortage logs for incoming receipts Assist with reconciliation of daily negative on-hand inventory balances Investigate inventory discrepancies and support root cause analysis efforts Enforce company policies and procedures related to ERP transactions and inventory control Maintain organized and accurate transaction documentation Support inventory audits and reporting activities as required Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Skills and Abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills Proficient computer skills (ERP systems and Microsoft Office) Ability to analyze discrepancies and resolve issues Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Core Competencies Accountability and integrity in transaction processing Process discipline and adherence to established procedures Cross-functional communication Problem-solving and analytical thinking Commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment may be loud at times. Hearing protection is required in designated areas and available to all employees. Physical Demands · Must be able to lift and carry minimum 55 pounds of material throughout the shift · Must be able to stand for long periods of time, including up to 10 hours · Must be able to frequently bend, reach, and repetitive hand movements Hours of Operation Normal business hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. However, hours may vary depending on shift needs.
