Inventory Acquisition Specialist

The Inventory Acquisition Specialist is responsible for purchasing inventory for resale through non-auction avenues. What You’ll Be Doing: Contact service customers the day prior to customers appointment via call/text/email Appraise vehicles in both the quick lube and back shop utilizing appraisal software Work with Service Advisors to account for known issues/reconditioning needed Provide customer with value of their vehicle If customer is interested in trading vehicle, coordinate customer with the Sales Manager Follow up with previous day’s appraisals Facilitate Purchase Paperwork Stock in units purchased into Vauto and submit paperwork to corporate office Explore other avenues to purchase inventory (i.e. Facebook, Craigslist, etc.) Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license required Good people skills and a master communicator both verbal and nonverbally Detail orientated and self-motivated Previous automotive experience is a plus For more information on what its like to work at Van Horn visit: vhcarsrecruiting.com !
