Title: International Shipping Coordinator Reports to: Logistics Supervisor Supervises: N/A Status: Full-time, In Office (Monday-Friday) Working Hours: 8am – 5pm Purpose of position: Provides communication and coordination of shipping to our sister companies and overseas customers. This position maintains the administrative duties associated with International export and import routing of finished goods and spare parts. In addition, this position will complete all receiving transactions and will aid in maintaining material inventory, Process all transactions in Z Boss CRM. Manage inventory, and resolve transportation and compliance issues, compile monthly report in addition to additional duties assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Primary contact to Miura Groups Process orders for ocean, ground, and air Expedite shipments to customers and Miura Groups Occasionally, process orders for parts by picking, packing, and loading parts for shipment Create export documents, prepare shipping packing lists, bills of ladings, and all required documentation for export shipments Process paper work for any overseas HAZMAT shipments Submit production orders and follow up to ensure deadlines are met. Allocate stock to the order properly and timely Collaborate with internal production to secure parts and ensure on-time fulfillment Support yearly compliance projects and audit requirements Coordinate freight and crating quotes; schedule crating for overseas shipments Create waves in ERP Maintain accurate communication through email and confirmed ship dates in ERP Communicate required deadlines to shipping Maintain required documentation for export and audits in an organized system Analyze stock needs of International partners and advise Supervisor of any suggestions Meetings with Miura Groups to discuss forcasting and shipments Support Logistics team functions to ensure email inquiries and orders are acknowledged promptly Perform monthly inventory, manage inventory, and maintain accurate inventory records Perform Daily 5S responsibilities of assigned work area(s) Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required Follow all Safety requirements which includes: Wearing PPE, following Safe Work Practices, adhere to Safety Policy and Rules Position Requirements (knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform satisfactorily in the position): 1‑2 years International shipping and compliance experience preferred Previous experience with UPS and FedEx systems Previous experience with Netsuite preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Ability to work well with multiple cultures Ability to manage time. Physical Demands: Standing: 1/3 to 2/3 of the time. Sitting: Over 2/3 of the time (working at a desk or computer). Walking: 1/3 of the time. Reaching and Climbing: Under 1/3 of the time, with some instances of balancing and climbing stairs. Lifting and Pushing: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. under 1/3 of the time and perform occasional pushing/pulling tasks. Communication: Requires talking and hearing over 2/3 of the time for coordination and interaction with team members, vendors, and customers. Position requires English and grammar usage skills over 2/3 of time. Position requires reading and interpreting instructions over 2/3 of time Repetitive Motion: Frequent keyboarding and use of the computer (over 2/3 of the time). Outdoor Work: Occasional outdoor work (under 1/3 of the time) for handling shipments or inventory. Regular attendance is required, and reliable punctuality is crucial for operational success.
