Intern, Logistics & Fulfillment

Job Description The Operations Intern, Logistics will support Global Logistics operations by helping coordinate operating routines, analyze execution performance, maintain documentation, and support cross-functional follow-up across replenishment, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation, customer management, and external logistics partners. This paid internship provides exposure to the logistics operating model and gives the intern an opportunity to contribute to project work that improves service, cost, inventory health, transportation performance, and working capital visibility. The internship is expected to run from late May through early August and will include a combination of training, structured project work, stakeholder engagement, and participation in corporate intern programming. The intern will work under the guidance of a direct supervisor, with exposure to the broader Global Logistics leadership team. Core Responsibilities Execution and Operating Routines Support daily and weekly logistics operating routines by helping prepare agendas, pre-reads, action logs, and follow-up tracking for execution reviews, Distributor Operations touchpoints, and logistics team meetings. Assist with monitoring execution against plan by reviewing shipment status, appointment availability, inventory signals, customer service risks, carrier updates, and operational constraints. Help document issues, quantify potential service or cost impacts, and coordinate updates with functional owners across replenishment, fulfillment, transportation, warehousing, and customer management. Reporting and Data Support Build and maintain routine reporting that supports service, fill rate, on-time performance, inventory health, transportation cost, transit time, velocity, damages, claims, and working capital visibility. Validate data completeness, investigate anomalies, and summarize performance trends using available system outputs, business intelligence tools, and stakeholder inputs. Prepare KPI scorecards, project updates, and leadership-ready summaries that clearly identify risks, gaps, trends, and recommended follow-up actions. Documentation and Process Improvement Support the creation and maintenance of standard work, standard operating procedures, process maps, escalation paths, recovery playbooks, training materials, onboarding resources, and job aids. Assist in documenting operating standards, scheduling expectations, carrier and vendor handoffs, and approved process changes with clear owners and effective dates. Contribute to business process improvement projects by helping identify pain points, organize stakeholder feedback, and recommend practical improvements to logistics routines and reporting. Cross-Functional Coordination Partner with Logistics, Customer Management, Supply Chain Planning, Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Finance, IT, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to support execution alignment and issue resolution. Draft clear communications on logistics plans, exceptions, performance insights, and recovery actions for internal stakeholders and external partners. Participate in corporate intern events, senior leader sessions, team-building activities, final presentations, and rotation days to broaden exposure to the Beer Division and Supply Chain organization. Qualifications Must have completed junior year of a bachelor's degree program, with an anticipated graduation date aligned to the internship program requirements. Major or demonstrated coursework in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum GPA of 3.0. Must be at least 21 years of age. Knowledge And Skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with spreadsheets, reporting outputs, and business intelligence tools to organize data, identify trends, and develop insights.
