Intermodal Yard Equipment Operator

Intermodal Terminal Operator Operate yard trucks, forklifts, and other terminal equipment to support the safe, efficient movement of containers and equipment in a busy rail and truck terminal. Inspect containers and railcars, ensure equipment is handled correctly, and maintain a clean, organized yard. Use terminal systems to track equipment and coordinate with drivers and teammates to support inbound/outbound operations while following all safety procedures. Key Duties Operate yard trucks, forklifts, and related equipment Inspect containers and railcars for condition and safety Track equipment using terminal systems Coordinate with drivers and team members during container moves Maintain yard cleanliness, order, and safe work areas Qualifications & Skills Safety-first mindset and ability to work in an outdoor, fast-paced environment Proficient with material handling equipment (yard trucks/forklifts) Attention to detail for inspections and accurate tracking Ability to follow procedures and communicate effectively Comfort using terminal systems for equipment tracking
